To be a Group-Leader qualified by the State of Colorado, students must complete a minimum of two 3-credit hour courses in Early Childhood Education. One of those courses must be Introduction to Early Childhood Education (ECE 101). In addition, 24 months of verifiable work experience with children under the age of 6 in a licensed child care setting is required.
