IMPORTANT
A minimum of 15 credits must be courses approved as part of the Colorado Guaranteed Transfer Program (gtPATHWAYS).
These 15 credits can come from any category within the 60 credits for the AGS degree. If you completed a course before it became effective as a gtPATHWAYS course, the institution to which you transfer has the option to accept it or not accept it. For more information and the most updated list of gtPATHWAYS courses, including dates when individual courses became effective, visit http://highered.colorado.gov/Academics/Transfers/gtPathways/curriculum.html
• This degree worksheet is subject to change. Please work closely with an advisor to create your academic plan and ensure a successful experience at FRCC.
• Credits transferred to FRCC are not official until evaluated by Admissions & Records.
• An absence of 12 months constitutes a break in enrollment and invalidates this review and possibly this plan of study.
• Many courses that meet requirements for the AGS are not typically transferable to four-year institutions. If completing the AGS with the intention of transfer, students are strongly encouraged to work with both an FRCC advisor and the intended transfer institution.
• To check your degree status, go to your eWOLF account, click on Degree Check, and review your progress toward your degree.
ADDITIONAL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ASSOCIATE OF GENERAL STUDIES DEGREE
• No developmental courses may be applied to this degree.
• No more than 6 semester credits in independent study may be applied to this degree.
• Minimum Grade Point Average 2.0; only grades of "C" or above may be applied to this degree.
• Minimum 15 degree-applicable semester credits must be completed at FRCC.
• Submit graduation application, transfer credits, and credit for prior learning to Admissions & Records by published deadline and complete CAAP exam (see Class Schedule for dates).
• Continuing students who have not had a 12-month lapse in enrollment will be allowed to use the requirements listed in any catalog published while continuously attending the college.
• Generally, credits accepted in transfer will be less than 10 years old, though all credit which is not outdated or obsolete, and is applicable to the student's degree program, may be accepted. The final determination of acceptance of credit based on content and age of the credit is made by the appropriate college instructional department and instructional dean.
